We are located in a village between Sandbach and Crewe, in Cheshire. Visitors please call by arrangement only, the office and warehouse are not on the same premises. The Electric Aeropane Company has been operating since 1989. ModellHaus merged with The Electric Aeropane Company in 2002.
Personnel: Stephen Mettam has been flying electric models since 1983, was team manager to the UK F5B team at the first electric world championships in 1986 and a team member in 1988, 1990 and 1992. He was F5B Contest Director at the Electric World Championships at York in 2004. Stephen created the magazine 'Electric Flight International' in 1994 and edited it until 2002 when it became 'Quiet & Electric Flight'. He still actively flies electric models of all types, particularly Sport and EDF and still competes regularly in F5B and Electroslot competitions.
Advisor Peter Barrow has a deep background with motors and batteries. He was National Champion 1980-81 one tenth off-road electric buggies. He has been using NiCads since 1978 and NiMHs and LiPo since they became available, at competition level with cars, boats and aircraft. Peter has been flying electric models since 1995. You may have seen him demonstrating large prop driven and Electric Ducted Fan models (up to 4 metres span) at model fly ins. He also flies very fast EDF models.Peter has also written a number of articles in RC Mags.
In 2005 Peter started racing boats and in his first year became NFERC Mono 3 champion. He also races hydro 1 and 2 and Mono 1 Peter also came 7th at the Naviga world championships in Mono1 He came 2nd at Europeans in mono1 and 6th in hydro 2 He is was also the MPBA British champion in Mono 1(2006) and NFREC hydro 2 champion 2007 S14 National Champion and 2nd in European Championships in Mono 1 2008 National Champion in Hydro 1 and Mono 1 2009 National Champion in Hydro 1 and Mono 1 and Mono1 team winning member. 2010 National Champion in Hydro 1 and Super Cat class |

General Information In the case of new items we may not have known the price at the time of going on the web and this is shown by TBA (To Be Advised). It is not possible to order items indicated this way from the web site. We have tried wherever possible to show measurements in both metric and imperial (and on some occasion these have been rounded up or down for convenience, as such please read all measurements as approximate). Although every effort has been made to ensure that the information on this site is correct we cannot guarantee their are no inaccuracies. We will endeavour to correct anything brought to our attention. Should an item be inadvertently misdescribed then the consumer will be entitled to a full refund (including postage costs) on the return of the goods.
Occasionally where an illustration of the model is not available we have used a photograph of the full-sized aircraft etc. We hope you enjoy what you see and find the contents of our web site useful. All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include UK VAT.
Payments can be made by Credit or Debit cards - please fill in details on the ordering page. For countries outside the E.C. Value Added Tax (VAT) is deductible on all items except books and magazines. When we receive your order we will automatically remove the VAT if it is not applicable to your country of origin.
Ordering Although we retain a very comprehensive stock we can not guarantee that every item shown and listed is always ex stock due to varying demand and supply. This does in particular apply to imported items where the lines of supply are sometimes extended. If a low cost item is not immediately available, and we have a similar product, we will send a near substitute unless requested not to.

Cancelling (Orders within the UK only) You have the right to cancel within 7 working days after the day you take receipt of goods. You must notify us within this time that you wish to cancel. You are required to take good care of the goods and return them to us at your own cost within 30 days. Your product must be complete, unused and in as new condition (e.g. if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product in any way). It should be returned with the original box, packing and accessories. If the returned item is in a condition which does not enable us to resell as new, we reserve the right to make a charge from any refund to cover this cost. We recommend that goods are returned by recorded or insured delivery. despatch department we can arrange We will subtract the return cost from your refund. Carriage costs overseas Carriage of orders sent overseas will be charged at cost depending on the item being sent and the country the item is being sent to. Sent by DHL or Parcel 2 go - within certain parts of Europe. All small packets are sent International letter post. Any other type will be quoted at cost.

Despatch All orders are carefully packed , but in the rare event if you have reason to believe that damage may have occurred in transit. We must be notified as soon as practicable after the damage is discovered. If the damage is obvious on receipt of the package please mark the carriers docket as damaged and try to retain the packing material as on occasion the carriers will wish to see this.
